Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA, USA - 2013
When I lived in San Francisco, I'd regularly go to a meetup with other photographers and we'd either shoot in a studio or we'd go to an interesting location. One of my favorite locations was Treasure Island between San Francisco and the East Bay (accessible via the Bay Bridge). Apparently it was artificially constructed in 1936-1937 for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition and is currently a historical landmark (source: wikipedia). There are many abandoned buildings that make for nice backdrops of portrait photography. This photo is from a shoot with one of my favorite models, Lana.
