Donna

My wife's Shire horse Donna was put to sleep this week. She was five years old and got an infection caused by an abscess. That's her at the front, taken when we went to visit her for the first time and see if she was the right horse for my wife. This was a four-hour drive away, in Barnard Castle in County Durham in England. My wife fell in love straight away and the deal was done. I got this photo printed for her and framed to put on the wall above her desk while we were waiting for Donna to come to her new home on the Isle of Arran.

It's incredibly sad and my wife is utterly heartbroken. Rest in Peace, dear Donna.
