Rice in Hair Care

Rice water contains inositol, a carbohydrate that strengthen elasticity and reduces friction.

Hair rinse. Rinsing hair with rice water gives shine to hair and makes strong and healthy. Add few drops of essential oils such as rosemary, lavender or geranium. After shampooing, pour the rice water on your hair. Gently massage your scalp and hair then rinse hair thoroughly with plain water. Use it once or twice a week as a final rinse.

Hair conditioner. Rice water acts as hair conditioner. Add a few drops of essential oil to the rice water and apply. Let it stay for 10 to 15 minutes and wash.
