Hi everyone here we are for another beautiful Sunday this Sunday i found myself in Koh Samui which is one of the famous islands known by tourist all round the world. Koh Samui is the second largest island in Thailand it lies in the Gulf of Thailand.
I was actually in Koh Samui last week also for some business meetings and i was no longer back in Bangkok and i was called back to Koh Samui again only this time i was to be staying on this paradise island for a little longer who was i to complain. So it was back to the airport eary morning and onto the plane then on the boat across the Gulf of Thailand to the island.
About half way across the Gulf of Thailand the weather was starting to change for the worst the we had left the blue skies on the mainland and were approaching storm clouds as we were getting closer to the island.
Oh we had a free loader on board to..... how cute.
Well unfortunately it wasn't blue skies like last week when i was here but i wasn't going to let that stop me from doing what i come here to do. On this island you still a warm relaxing feeling even though it rains just been away from the hustle and bustle of the big city gives you that relaxed atmosphere. Of the boat and heading to the main beach hotel resort area.
We arrived at the resort called the Sala Samui Chaweng Beach this resort hotel has just not long ago been completed so it was all still smelling fresh and again right on the beach front couldn't have been a better spot for a meeting to take place.
Massage bamboo beds out front of the resort free for resort guests.
Sala Samui Cocktail Bar very nicely done.
The morning had started of quite gray and drizzly but as it got to mid-day i could see the sun breaking through and some patches of blue skies perfect , the meeting was over for the day so i decided to take advantage of the sunburst and go out for a walk along the beach front the forecast was for more rain to come.
This was pretty neat some millionaire had his own private villa right on the beach front prime land.
And a crazy twisted up tree right out front of his villa acting as a wind breaker.
Up this end of the island are more luxury resorts or villas were the more wealthiest holidaymakers stay i had never really had the time to look around these luxury resorts or villas but today i have a few free hours up my sleeve so lets go for a tour around.
I just wanted to dive straight into this blue crystal water pool.
This resort was amazing it had little man made rivers running through the grounds of this resort with fishes that could swim right around the resort ending up back into there main pond area again.
The gardens were so lush and green and very well manicured it was like been in a rain forest peace tranquility.
Front the beach front i walked all the way to the front of this resort i needed to know the name of this stunning place for future reference it was called the "Muang Samui" would definitely want to stay here some day.
And not much further down i came across another similar resort also very lush and green looking like a rainforest with beautiful gardens.
This resort also had little man made ponds with beautiful koi fishes but no little rivers running around the resort but lovely wooden bridges built across the ponds and sitting areas.
Reading rooms were even comfortable and stylish.
Love the way they had these large pots filled with water and just petals of flower floating on the top just out front of the rooms one on either side of your door how romantic and lovely.
The reception area is looking very Christmasy , well i hope you enjoyed coming along with me to these exclusive resorts they are definitely breathtaking and there are many more like this on Koh Samui island truly a beautiful paradise to visit and stay a few nights.
Thank you @ace108 for hosting #beautifulsunday and thank you @c0ff33a for hosting #SublimeSunday.
