Lily flower
is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers. Lilies are the most commonly used flower for funerals because they symbolize innocence that has been restored to the soul of the departed.
The range of lilies in the Old World extends across much of Europe, Asia to Japan, India, and east and the Philippines. In the New World they extend from southern Canada through much of the usa.
