𝕥𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕙𝕦𝕞𝕓𝕝𝕖 // 18th March 2k18 // like bears bedding down for winter! :)

It might be covered with snow outside but we have power and warmth and a roof over our head yesterday and today — that can all change at any moment, I’m always aware of that, it’s never far from my mind, something that I’m certainly going to be mindful of and more respectful of in the coming months.

Yesterday me and @dayleeo spent a very nice cosy day in the van with a bottle of rum and a four pack of Guinness — let’s call it a super mild and chilled St Patricks day. We had this wonderful dhansak curry that we made from two awesome pots with lentils and chicken, it was a delight.

we drank the bottle of rum and beers and retired to bed to watch a fantastic documentary called ‘Tsukiji Wonderland’ — I think it’s probably the same team that filmed and edited the jiro dreams of sushi because it’s got the same feel about it and well that’s the market where jiro get’s his supplies from as well, the story was quite something — like watching an existing analog blockchain and how ‘relationships’ and ‘pride’ are more important than the final ‘payment’ result.

In Tokyo, Japan, the Tsukiji Fish Market is a massive complex where a wide variety of fish products are brokered. The Market employs over 12,000 workers, and about 30,000 customers conduct business there daily

Dayle mentioned about the sheer amount of seafood that we were killing and I had to agree with her that it seemed that we were just on a train that was not stopping, not sure how you even stop something like that when everyday people are looking for fish for their business, not just fish but the best quality fish they can find, nothing really was mentioned about waste.

This morning while I made omelettes with a bit of cheese and some hot sauce (served to the girl in bed of course) dayle watched the rest of samurai cat (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3185154) I’m not sure why I grabbed it to watch, maybe because I saw it was trending last week on twitter or something but it was funny all the same, I like to watch japanese/chinese films with subtitles — they have been getting really good over recent years.

either way it’s perfect for sunday morning watching, right now @dayleeo is in sleeping again, comfy as a bug in a rug with her enterprise class snood on and out like the light, I think the omelette maybe set her back off to sleep or maybe that I put the heater on setting no2 ;) (very hot)

The crypto markets are still taking a hammering, I can’t see an end in sight and I feel like it’s way more than just the market I feel like it’s an attack on the whole crypto markets in general, I would not be surprised if this is an automated, state sponsored slow attack on the whole scene — certainly feels like it, maybe it’s just a correction who knows but it makes me sad to see our poor steem down to $1.65 and SBD at $1.70 fighting for survival.

Poor old dash down to $364 and litecoin at $147, if you have any runway and ever wanted to get in and can afford too this is certainly the time although I expect we have not even seen bottom yet —- I’m still bullish on cryptos thou and more than anything I’ve found friends and bloggers that I love to read and watch here. I’m not going anywhere, it was never about this as a fund resource anyway, I was always just pumped to get anything.

let’s talk about @steemcampuk

yesterday I started the saving transfer of 10 steem to @lloyddavis (the host) of the upcoming @steemcampuk event in april (head over to the account to get more details) I’ve checked out the links to the venue and it looks like a cool place to have an event so props to Lloyd for picking a lovely venue.

https://birmingham.impacthub.net if you want to find the venue and the details about it, if you want to meet more steemians from the uk you should totally try and make it, looks to be a simple walk from Birmingham International Train Station.

I’m not sure what I’m expecting to get out of the event, I guess I’m there to support Lloyd in this and maybe I’ll take my podcasting gear so me and dayle can do a podcast and maybe do some podcasts with other people as well during the day.

I’d like to round table maybe a few of my app ideas if they are fleshed out anymore about legacy, basic income and content creation, I’ve packaged them as a ‘triple’ and each could be a steem blockchain powered entity in their own right.

Ok, that’s me for this post, time to fire up a post on @cryptocards as I just got a great email! :)
