No other team has scored as many visiting goals for Real Madrid as Bayern Munich. The Bávaro team has scored two more goals than any other team.

7 years ago was the last time that Bayern won a visit at the Santiago Bernabeu, with a goal by Giovanni Elber. That time the Bayern agreed to play the final in Giuseppe Meazza stadium in Milan against in Valencia, final that ended tied at one goal and that Bayern won 6-5 in penalty shoot-out.

That real Madrid was a more complete and more intimidating team than the current one, at least playing at home, that Bayern was a more compact team in defense and less offensive than the current one (perhaps because of Hittzfeld's philosophy). The truth is that if the Bayern offensive is fine today and specifies at least half of the possibilities it had in Germany, then, we would be talking about a comeback. Nothing is said and the Germans have ample possibilities of moving to the final, especially if we evaluate the last two games of Real Madrid (local vs. Juventus and visit vs Bayern).

It will be a match of high intensity where Bayern will attack but with caution and Madrid, at least in the first 20 minutes will want to go out to close the tie. As I mentioned in a previous post "if Bayern manages to withstand the pressure of the first 20 minutes and starts to handle the ball ... Madrid will suffer too much"
