Ben Affleck becomes Batman in real life

On Thursday, April 5, Ben Affleck showed that it is not always necessary to use a cape and mask to be a superhero. Earlier this week, the nurses of the so-called Hospice Atlanta shared on social networks the story of an 11-year-old refugee named Mukuta who suffers from a terminal cancer and who is receiving the best possible treatments in those facilities. The nurses' hope was that they could find someone to dress up as their favorite superhero, Batman, to surprise her. However, after getting to the attention of the protagonist of 'Shazam', Zachary Levi, they received an unexpected - but very welcome - call from the true Dark Knight.

Ben Affleck, who is currently working on 'Triple Frontier' (Netflix) in Hawaii, made a call via FaceTime to Mukuta last Thursday afternoon and, although the young man admired did not recognize him immediately because of the huge and leafy beard the actor and filmmaker, his perplexity quickly became joy when he realized that he was on the phone with Bruce Wayne of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The kind gesture of the actor who gives life to the current Batman did not stop there, because after investigating and learning more about the history of Mukuta and that his mother could not travel to the hospital in Atlanta from Zimbabwe, Ben Affleck kindly promised to help to the mother and son to pay for their flight and travel expenses. How big you are, Ben! That means being a superhero!
