RE: Universal Basic Income is Communism 2.0

if it ends up in the real economy
yes only then it leads to inflation of consumer goods...

I wrote above in the comment an suggestion how an basic income could be financed without inflation, i would be happy to hear your thoughts to that.

Currently around 1/3 of a product price goes for wages, 1/3 for tax and 1/3 for capital costs. Through the current near zero interest policy, the capital costs of produces declines, therefore also not much inflation is visible.

I think we should move to so called full money and therefore reduce the current practice of fractional reserve lending. The goal show be 0% price inflation. Moving away from fractional reserve lending will give the possibility to invest the newly generated money directly. This money can then be used to lend out for small interest loans and for buying property (stocks / land). Small interest loans will lead to reduce the capital costs of products and therefore reduce product prices and therefore give the possibility to generate even more new money to guarantee 0% inflation policy.

The bought stocks / land can be rented out. The rent could be partially used to buy more stocks / land, to finance an basic income and to reduce other taxes. Step by step other taxes (expect taxing what you dont want to have like pollution or drugs) could be reduced beginning with the wage tax and inheritance tax. This again will lead to reduced product prices, which will give the opportunity to generate even more newly generated money to buy more stocks / land to get more rent, to reduce more taxes...

This of course could also be implemented step by step with a crypto currency without the need to wait for politicians to take action.

Statistics and descriptions you can find in the German book Good by Wahnsinn. The author described very well the current system underlined with tons of data. I for my part share most of his ideas, but would recommend above to implement as solution to the current accumulation of property and destruction of the environment.
