Badminton:-

Badminton is a type of racquet sports . It is either single or jointly played. To play badminton, a rectangular court is divided into net. With the help of the player's racquet, his opponent throws the shuttle on the court and collects the scores. Once the shuttle touched the soil, a rally is over.

By the mid-nineteenth century in India over the British army officers led to the development of this game. They started the game by adding a net to the traditional English game of battles and shuttlecock . This game was very popular because of the British Garrison City, Pune , the name of the game is Pooni . At the end of the nineteenth century, the game received huge publicity in England.

In 1930, the World Badminton Control Organization International Badminton Federation (now Badminton World Federation ) was established. In the modern world, badminton is also quite popular in China, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea outside of Europe.

In 1992, Badminton included five events, including the Olympics . These events are male and female singles, men's and women doubles and mixed doubles.
