Touching the sky

This is 13,600 feet ASL. This is Babusar Pass. You take one step, your lungs demand oxygen for two. On a clear day you can put your eyes to test. The sky is a different blue. You no longer think of the sky as a roof, but an ocean of nothingness.
There's something worth seeing in all 6 directions. Up is what grabs your attention the most. You won't seem to care much about what's down. But your sight won't resist to take a huge slide from the top of the mountains to the snakey streams again and again.
Nanga Parbat (The Killer Mountain) and Rakaposhi are the most prominent peaks you can view if you're lucky to be here in clear weather.
