My “job” is to offer catalogs to people I know or anyone who might be interested and share it online but what I like about this “job” is my free will on how I want to approach it. Of course, the more orders you have, the more benefits but even if you don’t have any orders or just a few, it doesn’t really matter. I can also choose if I just want to do it as a hobby, have it as an option for people I know or if I want to approach it a “business” and actively look for customers. My online presence is up to me as well, there are really no set rules and I like the fact there is no pressure on that side.
The main reason I decided to join Avon is because lately I am just craving new experiences and I haven’t done anything similar before. I really want to see how good I will be at it, I want to practice my approach to people in person and online, I want to get creative with photos and posts I will share on my social media… It’s free, anyone can join in and you can also quit any time.
I remember in high-school and while I was a student at University, I always had someone I know who is doing Avon – it was usually my friend’s mom so catalogs would always circle between our friend’s group and we would always find something to order. Back then social media and online shopping wasn’t a thing so there was a lot of excitement holding a new catalog for that month in your hands and flip through pages. Now everything Is easier and more accessible, with just few clicks you can make your order but I really enjoyed looking through the catalog when I got it as it has been a lot of time since I had one in my hands.
