Openradar

In this video I will introduce the program Openradar. It is a standalone Javaprogram and allows control of all airfields in the world. Download, installation and selection of several airfields are explained in detail. The 3 main windows with all the buttons we play with real pilots and get a good impression of the possibilities offered by this program.

The connection with the multiplayer system of FlightGear allows chatting and authentic communication with the pilots. We get all information about our airfield, the runways, the weather conditions as well as all relevant points for the navigation of our pilots. On slides, we can hide and show the NDB (non-directional beacon), FIXES (fixed GPS coordinate points), DMA, ILS and so on.

A built-in ready-made message menu allows us to send all ATC commands to the pilots, or to read them and to chat via Mumble orally as in the original with the pilots. The language is Basic English, should things be unclear, I ask for comments, which I will then gladly answer. So you can start immediately as an Air Traffic Controller and you can follow the other flights from me or many other pilots around the world or even control them.

In diesem Video werde ich das Programm Openradar vorstellen. Es ist ein eigenständiges Javaprogramm und ermöglicht die Kontrolle aller Flugplätze dieser Welt. Download, Instalation und Auswahl mehrere Flugplätze werden genauestens erklärt. Die 3 Hauptfenster mit allen Schaltflächen spielen wir mit richtigen Piloten durch und bekommen einen guten Eindruck von den Möglichkeiten, die dieses Programm bietet.

Die Verbindung mit dem Multiplayer System von FlightGear erlaubt chatten und die originalgetreue Kommunikation mit den Piloten. Wir bekommen alle Informationen über unseren Flugplatz, die Start- und Landebahnen, die Wetterbedingungen sowie alle relevanten Punkte für die Navigation unserer Piloten. Auf Folien können wir uns die NDB (nicht gerichtete Funkfeuer), FIXES (feste GPS Koordinatenpunkte), DMA, ILS und so weiter ein- und ausblenden.

Ein eingebautes vorgefertigtes Nachrichtenmenue erlaubt uns alle ATC Kommandos an die Piloten zu übermitteln, oder diese abzulesen und per Mumble mündlich wie im Original mit den Piloten zu chatten. Die Sprache ist Basic Englisch, sollten Dinge unklar sein bitte ich um Kommentare, die ich dann gerne beantworten werde. Somit steht einem sofortigen Start als Air Traffic Controller nichts mehr im Wege und du kannst die weiteren Flüge von mir oder vielen anderen Piloten auf der ganzen Welt verfolgen oder sogar kontrollieren.
