Autumn in Australia will last up to May 31st, 2018. Of four seasons exist in Australia, I personally love Autumn more than the other seasons - Summer, Spring, or Winter.

There are at least two major events that are popular in Autumn, they are:

  1. End of Daylight Saving Time
Daylight saving time ends at 03.00 a.m. on the first Sunday in April in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria. Australia's Northern Territory and the states of Queensland and Western Australia do not observe and adopt daylight saving time. It means that Daylight Saving Time Periods in Australia is equal to +4 hours if compared to Indonesia WIB (Waktu Indonesia Barat) time. This means that when daylight saving time ends, it becomes +3 hours difference only.

  2. Anzac Day
The major fixed-date event in April is Anzac Day on April 25th which is marked throughout the country with dawn services, wreath-laying, parades or a combination of these. The national focal point of Anzac Day commemorations is the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Expect dawn services and parades in cities and major towns. Sydney holds a dawn service at the Cenotaph in Martin Place and a parade through George St which then turns toward Hyde Park where the Anzac Memorial stands.
