Automatic overclocking for the ninth generation Intel Core CPUs

Intel has produced the Intel Performance Maximizer instrument accessible, with which the Intel Core 9 series belonging to the K family can be automatically overclocked. Therefore, it is the processors fitted with frequency multiplier unlocked upwards which, by interfering on the bios parameters, consumers can readily overclock on their own initiative.

The American company therefore intends to automate overclocking with the Intel Performance Maximizer software, which makes it available even to those customers who are concerned but do not understand how to approach it using the parameters present in the bios with a click. Obviously, the final outcome is a function of its particular overclocking processor sample's tolerance rate: silicon quality, integrated cooling system and motherboard characteristics influence the final value.

The instrument automatically conducts the operation, intervening to raise a first step's clock frequency and then check the stability of the operation. The process is repeated until a frequency is reached at which the CPU no longer works stably: at that stage the value is lowered slightly and the software interferes with other parameters for the final operation tweaking.

Maximizer performance requires an Intel Z390 chipset based motherboard, at least 8 GB of system memory and 16 GB of hard disk storage. The Windows 10 operating system must also be present, updated in version 1809 or higher.
