ATI VBIOS Update
Download the file with VBIOS and the atiflash file needed for updating.
- Boot the previously created pendrive (must be bootable -> Rufus for example) with ripped VBIOS files
- Make sure that the slot is the graphics card for this purpose: atiflash -ai
And follow the information:
If your card is marked with @ 0
Type the command: atiflash -p -f 0 bios.xxx
If your card is labeled @ 1
Type the command: atiflash -p -f 1 bios.xxx
VBIOS Recovery
We use the atiflash command -i 1 bios.bin or atiflash -f -p 1 bios.bin
VBIOS NVidia Update
Download the VBIOS file and the nvflash file needed for the update.
- Boot the previously created bootable image with the ripped VBIOS files.
- Then rename the downloaded VBIOS file for the MSI card to eg 1.ROM.
[For example, you are renaming NV255MS.204 to 1.ROM, where "NV255MS.204"] - Then restart your computer and start with USB pendrive.
- When you see: \ or C: , type:
Nvflash.exe -b old.rom [ENTER] / * This is a backup / save of the currently installed VBIOS to old.rom * / - You are waiting for the end of the process and then type:
-4,5 -6 nvflash.exe 1.ROM [ENTER] / * This is an update to the latest VBIOS * /
