They allegedly assaulted teens in a group

A father-son duo, two women and another man who allegedly assaulted underage girls in Montérégie 20 years ago are facing a hundred charges.

Clément Lamoureux, accused in June of more than 40 counts of sexual assault on 14 minors, between 1999 and 2016, returns Monday before the court for its preliminary investigation, the courthouse of Sorel-Tracy.

In the wake of the police investigation to find other potential victims of the 66-year-old, arrests warrants were issued last week against four other people, including his son.

Horse riding

"These people all face the same charges of sexual assault with several people on two complainants," said Geneviève Beaudin, Crown Attorney.

The events occurred on different occasions with 13-year-old girls between 1999 and 2001 in Saint-Amable. At that time Lamoureux had an equestrian center.

According to our information, all alleged victims would have attended riding lessons or frequented the place.

Coyed girls

Lamoureux the father would have coaxed the girls before taking advantage of them, has he already been revealed to the Court.

The sexagenarian was until Wednesday the only one who was accused of having assaulted these two women.

But since then, Danny Lamoureux, Sonia Saradjian and Geneviève Jodoin are also facing 12 charges of a sexual nature each.

They were released under strict conditions.

A fifth person involved in this case, residing at the same address as Lamoureux Jr., has not yet appeared.

These suspects were all in their twenties during the alleged events, but the link that unites them is not yet known.

As the actions would have occurred in a context of trust, some interviewees would still believe they were willing, we learned.

Their age, however, made any sexual relationship with an illegal adult.
