I was right in guessing the overall look(particularly contrast) would work out without my botched attempt at mixed-color cross-hatching on the last one.
EDIT: WOW, I forgot to put the veins in. Not at my most focused. Will have to fix that and re-upload soon. Embarrassing!
I'm considering branching out to writing-focused posts at times, including reviews of movies/music/art/artists/games, as well as some general rants. No idea how those would work out, but if they come natural, I'll put 'em up here. Still, at least a quick illustration should probably accompany each.
