It's been a while since I posted an artwork. And for today, I have decided to share to you guys how i paint a monotone landscape with pine tree using wet on wet technique.
Materials Used:
• Watercolor- For this one, I used the fabercastell deckfarben watercolor. Any brand of watercolor will also do.
• Paint brush
• Masking tape- for border purposes
Steps on Making a Monotone Landscape
Prepare needed materials. Create borders using masking tape.
Apply water on the paper. It will enable us to blend the paint easily.
Next, apply colors. For this one, I used blue as the main color but any of your preffered colors will do.
Repeat applying paint until the whole paper is painted.
Apply different layers to create an eye catching scenery.
For the trees, draw some thick and thin lines to achieve the forest look.
Add minor details. You may add fallen leaves, feathers and even bird shadows!
Lastly, take off the masking tape.
And now you're done! Now it's your time to paint some landscapes! Thank you!
