Hi Steemians!
Im thinking about doing a T-shirt illustration to hype the possibility of a debate between two philosophical giants. the socialists hard hitter from the Balkans-prof. slavoj Zizek, and the Canadian conservative liberal Maverick Dr. Jordan Peterson. I've started posting shirts on T-public last week and I hope to make it a habit.
I happen to know this debate thing is an idea that's gathering steem on the net. both are (presumably) ideological rivals and have similar attraction amongst the general audience and internet fame.
I'm not a heavy reader of philosophy text to say the least, but I'm a YouTube junkie. so I'd really fancy the idea of the two doing a debate video. it also became somewhat likely because last week Zizek attacked Peterson in a short newspaper article.
Here's a quick study of Zizek's face I just did. hope to take it forward. honestly it's been a rather crappy day for me.. for personal and fa but I wouldn't want to discuss it here because this content belongs in a different post. I still felt compelled to post today because I want consistency for my followers.
As for the drawing, it always suprise me to find the point during drawing in which the likeliness is achieve d- and from that point onwards it suddenly feels much easier to draw, as if your pencil is "guided" by the forms. In the first few seconds/minutes, it might be a struggle. there are some perfectionist who take hours even to complete that stage, or some that work months! to move passed the sketch making part.
I want to study how to draw caricatures better to. It's something I have experience with but I'd like to enroll in a master class with a person who is a professional caricaturist.
