"Sharp Object", The Handicrafts from Coastal Communities

Hi All!

Sharp goods, now widely produced using machines, by factories, but I had seen the results of home production that the quality is not lost when compared with the factory.

Although it does not have a written recognition from ISO institutions, but, the quality of the sharp goods produced by local communities, which inhabit the coastal region of Aceh is deserved thumbs up. Why not, the stuff is made very nice and neat.

The blacksmiths in Aceh are now getting scarce, this is because the number of factories that provide all kinds of needs. In addition, the scarcity of materials is also one of the reasons the blacksmiths began to be rarely encountered.

I have read, lately the president of Indonesia intends to import sharp goods from abroad, because the products produced in Indonesia have an unsafe quality.

I myself do not agree with the argument, because when I go, the blacksmith just does not take care of the legality letters of their work, because they only provide stock of sharp items like machetes, hoes and knives for the needy, with little quantity.

If you see, are the sharp items I currently post are of good quality? Because the forge iron makes it from a variety of materials. Indeed, the material is iron, but the quality of iron is different.

I once asked a blacksmith in the village of Pande, he said, mixing a sword, just like a person who mixed coffee (he said), other people, other results.
