I accidentally created this image while fishing around inside of a sphere. I had made a hexagon with many facets, and then imploded, or pushed each facet inwards and beyond the center. The effect was like turning a polyhedron inside out. I added some lights and a little camera distortion and I twisted the model. Then I saw this scene. Those facets pointing down from the sphere's north pole looked to me like a heart with light radiating out of it. And those curved shapes at the outer edges looked almost like the silhouettes of people, rotating around that power source! The title was a no-brainer at that point.
