I imagined I was inside a nest made of rainbow colored straw. I could see the rest of the flock flying through it's walls.
It's the surprise of finding something I don't expect that keeps me coming back to this creative process I call spherical art. There are so many possibilities, that the outcome never seems to be the same twice.
This image was made from the same model I used in this previous post. The difference is using another type of camera in my 3D program, and another type of layering in Photoshop. The faces of the model have a stencil image mapped to them which gives them a linear look.
