EXTRA, EXTRA!

thecreativecrypto.com is live!

If you haven’t seen it already, make your way over to the @creativecrypto page to read about the official launch of The Creative Crypto’s website! We cover the all the major components in the post, including every which way you can get involved as well. We’re very excited to finally have this open-source website finally out there to start deep creative discussions and attract more creatives / entrepreneurs to the Steem ecosystem.

For this post, we wanted to discuss a bit on the intentions of the magazine, why we at @sndbox decided to create it, and how we foresee a global audience making use of the resource.

A Toolkit for All Creative Professionals

The Magazine will become a premier community resource that educates, inspires, and empowers makers through all things blockchain. As we have developed the @sndbox incubator program, we understood that there is a real need for more actionable material that allows painters, designers, architects, musicians, videographers, and anyone with a creative bone to start creating with crypto right from square one.

As such, we’re treating The Creative Crypto as a growing toolkit that ongoingly builds out an arsenal of impactful resources. Unlike other crypto-centric magazines, it will less focused on daily news updates and more so on precedent projects, practices, and people, all aimed to help equip readers and newcomers as quickly as possible. Even without an extensive familiarity with blockchain, crypto, etc., newcomers will be able resonate with the stories of artists who have gone through that same process.

The articles published on The Creative Crypto will consist of evaluations of new technology with honest and transparent reviews, our personal testing of various tokens and platforms, and showcases of blockchain-powered creativity. Our team will communicate with the individuals and teams behind every product and never give a sponsored report without full disclosure. Our absolute priority is the empowerment of our readers.

Deep Creative Insight

Another facet to the magazine is creating an arena of ideas and discussion concerning creative projects that are not being held anywhere else. Typical blockchain-related news sources like Coindesk and Coin Telegraph are fueled by financial movement, general speculation, and corporate announcements. In the rare instances that they do report on a creative project such as Crypto Kitties or even a platform like the PROPS Project, but there is little insight into the rich ecosystem of production that backs these endeavors - the experiences, future forecasts, ongoing opportunities, and educational resources are not made visible.

We want The Creative Crypto to be a premier source of deep thinking and discussion. Much of our content is themed around ongoing series such as our weekly livestream Blockchain & Bourbon or our An Unlikely Crypto Creative interviews. The ambition here is to bring you more thorough and compounding resources that are useful for a diverse audience.

For this exact purpose, we’ll be working closely with and constantly reaching out to other platforms and practices that utilize blockchain technology. We want to tell more wholesome stories and provide good tools for our readers.

Looking Ahead

There will be much more to come from us and the team behind The Creative Crypto Magazine. We would love your support and enthusiasm with the project and be sure to check out all of the ways you can engage with us on our launch post. Thank you for reading and Steem on!
