Art| Arty Sunday

Hi guys, as I said yesterday, today i’ll share with you our Sunday date. It was really arty. We went to the National Art Gallery in Sofia and spent there about three hours, whiteout to realize it. There were three exhibitions and all of them were incredible and different.

The first exhibition we saw was from Konstantin (Kocho) Garneff, a famous Bulgarian artist. His oil paintings were intense and show portraits of different women, auto portraits and few with traditional Bulgarian details.

It was interesting to see things and people from the artist’s point of view and the development in his skills and works in the time.

Then we went to an exhibition called “the XXL group” created 1994, which was a collaboration of few talented authors.

“The exhibition includes documentation as well as pieces of art from the remote and striving for a change last decade of the previous century. At the same time it shows current works of the authors from that once utterly provocative artistic circle.”

I am in love with this exhibition!!! It was so interesting and made me lost in thoughts. It was like a different reality.

Then we saw Boyan Radev’s paintings. He is very famous Bulgarian artist and his works are very beautiful.

We finished the day with those great burgers and watched some movies!

What are your favourite things to do on Sunday?
