Today presenting: 'PSYCHE'

Psyche was a king's daughter and had two sisters. She was the beloved of Eros (or Amor) and so beautiful no one dared to marry her. Her two sisters were both already married to a royal prince and Psyche was still alone. She did not want to be so beautiful anymore, otherwise she would never be able to receive love. Her parents were worried by this and consulted the oracle of Apollo. His answer was: "The virgin is destined as a bride for an immortal lover. Her future husband is waiting for her at the top of the mountain. Neither gods nor people can resist him, who is a monster. "
