En esta oportunidad voy a presentarte mis cartucheras, como les decimos acá (me encantaría saber como las llaman en tu país), mis borradores y mis sacapuntas. Iba a mostrarte también mis bolígrafos, porque pensaba que iban a ser pocas fotos, pero me di cuenta de que tenía más cartucheras de las que pensaba, jajajaja. También tengo para mostrarte los borradores y sacapuntas, que tengo que están nuevos y los que son exactamente iguales, pero que se ecuentran en uso (porque sí, soy de esa clase de acumuladores que compran dos veces la misma cosa, jajajaja).
In this chance, I’m gonna introduce you my pencilcases, erasers and sharpeners. I was going to show you my pens too because I thought there were gonna be a small amount of pictures, but then I noticed that I have more pencilcases that the ones I remembered, hahahaha. I also have the erasers and sharpeners that are brand new in my storage and the ones that are exactly the same that I’m currently using (because, yes, I’m that kind of collectors that purchase the same things twice, hahahaha).
Como pudiste ver allí arriba, hay un montón de cosas. Algunas de estas cosas son muy antiguas y rondan los 15 años o más. Comenzando con mis cartucheras, tengo muchos recuerdos amenos del momento en que las adquirí. Empezaré con la primera que tuve, cuando tenía nueve años (hace catorce años, omg). La obtuve para mi cuarto año de escuela primaria. Actualmente la uso para guardar mis lápices de colores y tiene un montón de bolsillos, así que es bastante últil. Me gustan mucho los bolsillitos de la parte de atrás, porque me recuerda a un patalón o falda.
As you saw up there, there are a bunch of things, some of these things are very old and may round the 15 years old or more. Starting with my pencilcases, I have very sweet memories about the moment they became mine. I’m gonna start with the one I got first, when I was 9 years old (14 years ago, omg). I got it for my 4th grade in elementary school. I currently use it to store my colour pencils and it has lots of pockets, so it’s pretty useful. I really like the little pockets it has on the back side because it reminds me of a denim pant or skirt.
Dos años más tarde, cuando llegué a sexto de primaria, una campaña de las toallas higiénicas Always pasó por mi escuela a repartir muestras y material informativo, entre ello, estos lindos estuches, que no son precisamente cartucheras, pero lo uso con ese propósito de cuando en cuando, dado que es muy fácil de limpiar.
Two years later when I was in 6th year of elementary school, a publicitary campaign of the hygienic pads enterprise Always came to my school to distribute free samples and informative flyers along with these beautiful cases, which aren’t precisely pencilcases, but I use this one for that very often because the material is easy to clean.
Luego, cuando estaba en bachillerato, hace unos 7 años, conseguí un trabajo de vacaciones en una papelería (fue el paraíso 
), para comprar con mi propio dinero los útiles que usaría ese año escolar. Gasté casi todos mis sueldos en papelería y allí conseguí esta cartuchera de Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, una serie que me gustaba mucho ver en Cartoon Network. La compré sin pensarlo.

Hace dos años, una amiga que tenía, me dio esta cartuchera de Sailor Moon (un anime del que estoy obsesionada como un zombie sin cerebro). Está un poco oxidada, porque es de los 90, cuando la serie la transmitían en la TV.
Two years ago a friend I used to have gave me this Sailor Moon pencilcase (it is an anime that I’m obsessed about like a brainless zombie). It’s a little bit rusty because it is from 90’s, when the series were airing on TV.
Esta cartuchera noventosa de Mickey Mouse, me la regaló mi mejor amiga el año pasado, cuando vino de visita a Venezuela, por primera vez desde que se fue hace 6 años. Es de cuando ella iba a primaria y aún tiene la etiqueta de su identificación en ella. (Dai, si ves ésto, te extraño mucho ❤)
I’ve got this 90’s Mickey Mouse’s pencilcase. It was a gift from my best friend, who came to visit Venezuela on last year, for the first time since she left 6 years ago. It is from the times she attended to elementary school and it still has the identification sticker on it. (Dai, in case you see this, I miss you so much ❤)
Y la última que he obtenido es esta cartuchera / estuche de maquillaje, de una tienda local. Fue un regalo de cumpleaños, me encanta. Suelo usarla de billetera, dado que en Venezuela hay que cargar una cantidad absurda de billetes gracias a la inflación. La tienda solía llamarse Missbea, pero actualmente los encuentras como Bae bae cats

And the last one I've got is this pencilcase / makeup case, from a local store. It was a birthday gift and I love it. I normally use it as a wallet, since you need to carry lots of cash with you due Venezuelan inflation. The store used to have the name of Missbea, but now you can find them as Bae bae cats

Ahora, vamos con los sacapuntas. Estos son los que más me gustan. Tengo tres más, pero son tan básicos que estoy pensando en regalarlos a alguien que los necesite. Comencemos con mi sacapuntas favorito de toda la existencia. Tiene dos sacapuntas para lápices de tamaño normal y para los que son gruesos. El color es de ensueño y amo el depósito translúcido que tiene. He comprado (y extraviado) este modelo de sacapuntas UN MONTÓN de veces, pero aún conservo el primero que obtuve (tristemente, sin el depósito). Acá está:
Now, let’s move to the sharpeners. These are the ones I like the most. I have another three ones but they are so basic that I’m thinking about giving them as a gift to someone who needs them. Let’s start with my most favorite sharpener ever. It has two sharpeners for normal sized and thick pencils. The colour is a dream and I love the translucid deposit it has. I have bought (and lost) this sharpener model BUNCH of times, but I still have the very first one I ever got (without the deposit, sadly). Here it is:
En 2015 compré este increíblemente adorable sacapuntas de ardilla. La carita que tenía pintada originalmente se borró, así que le pinté una nueva lo más cercana que pude, a la original. Usé este sacapuntas MUCHÍSIMO, mientras iba a clases de psicología en la universidad. Me hacen mucha falta.
In 2015 I bought this incredibly adorable squirrel sharpener. The original face it had painted faded, so I painted a new one the closer I could for the original face. I used it A LOT while attending my psychology classes at college. I miss them a lot.
Y acá está este antiquísimo sacapuntas de Coca-Cola. No consigo recordar cómo lo obtuve, pero tanto puedo recordar, es que el primer dueño lo tenía desde los 80.
And there is this very antique Coca-Cola sharpener. I can’t remember how I got it, but as far as I remember, I heard the first owner had it since 80’s.
Y finalmente, estos son mis borradores. Como notarás, hay dos de Sailor Moon, jajaja. Comencemos con los borradores en forma de lápiz. De izquierda a derecha está el borrador que uso cuando dibujo. Es delgado, así que es ideal para borrar líneas específicas sin perjudicar las líneas cercanas. Luego están mis borradores de Sailor Moon; el de la izquierda está totalmente nuevo y el de la derecha es el que estoy usando actualmente.
And finally, these are my erasers. As you may notice, there are two Sailor Moon erasers, hahaha. Let’s start with the pencil-shaped erasers. From left to right, there is the eraser I use for drawings. It’s thin, son it’s ideal to erase specific lines without erasing the ones next to it. Next there are my Sailor Moon erasers, the left one is brand new and the right one is the one I’m currently using.
Tengo una pequeña historia para esos borradores de Sailor Moon: Cuando era una Ophelia muy muy pequeña, mi papá me compró uno así. Amaba Sailor Moon como loca, así que era una de mis pertenencias más preciadas en el mundo. No sé cómo, pero lo extravié y ese sentimiento melancólico me siguió durante muchos años… Hasta el 2015, cuando aleatoriamente entré a una quincallería y los vi. Me puse como HGjGKJDASHGKJAHSGDKJAHGSDKJHSA, así que los compré como si no hubiese un mañana. Jajajaja, los amo demasiado 
I have a little story for those Sailor Moon erasers: When I was a very very little Ophelia, my father bought me one of these. I freaking loved Sailor Moon, so it was one of my most appreciated possessions in the world. I don’t know how, but I lost it and that melancholic feeling followed me through lots of years… Until in 2015 I randomly entered to a hardware store and I saw them. I was like HGjGKJDASHGKJAHSGDKJAHGSDKJHSA so I bought them like there was no tomorrow. Hahaha. I love them so much
Y estos lindos borradores morados los compré para usarlos en la universidad. Este es alguna clase de cerveza de uva o algo. No lo sé, pero es tan jodidamente lindo que no pude resistirme a adquirirlo.
And these cute purple erasers were purchased for using them in college classes. This one is some kind of grape beer or something. I don’t know, its so freaking cute that I couldn’t resist to get it.
Y estos son, increíblemente, el mismo borrador. El de la izquierda está totalmente nuevo y está todo sólido, pero el de la derecha estaba en una cartuchera mientras no lo usé durante unos meses y cuando lo tomé de nuevo, se había convertido en alguna clase de plastilina. Traté de darle una nueva forma y lo puse en un molde de conejo dentro del congelador, pero cuando lo saco del molde se pone super suave de nuevo, jajaja.
And these ones are, incredibly, the same eraser. The left one is brand new and it is solid and stuff, but the right one was inside a pencilcase while I wasn’t using it for a while and when I grabbed it, it became some kind of clay. I tried to give it a cute shape and put it inside a bunny mould inside the freezer, but when I get it out of the mould it gets all soft again. hahaha.
Y, finalmente, estos son unos borradores de los 90. Uno está completamente nuevo y el otro lo uso actualmente. En 1999 eran muy populares entre adolescentes e infantes. El que está nuevo es un regalo que recibí para darme ánimos cuando me recuperaba de mi fractura bimaleolar
Finally, I have these 90’s erasers. One is brand new and the other is the one I’m currently using. Back in 1999 they were really popular among kids and teenagers. The new one was a gift to cheer me up while I was recovering from my bimalleolar fracture.
