Fellow Steemians!
There is this kind of challenge, called Inktober. It is exactly what you think it is: You can draw anything, (actually you have this prompt so actually not anything, but I did) as long as you do it with ink, and during the month october. This artist, Jake Parker came up with this in 2009, and many artists followed.
I did this for the first time in my life, and I wasn't disappointed. I started with a plein air drawing of mess I made myself (runningshoes and a jacket):
Also I drew this illustration of a dead bird. It was an assignment for a local magazine. I do this monthly, so it wasn't much extra work:
I always enjoy these flowercompositions, and I love birds (shouldn't be a surprise), so this came next:
