DEATH OF MISTRESS SOUTH

Poetry is the most picturesque of literary forms. Reading poetry creates images in our head - and once, I saw clearly images in a poem my friend wrote. The poem is in Serbian language, but here you can see the images I made - the concept revolved around the idea of a crime scene. In the poem, he describes the death of his mistress South, and I imagined images that would describe her death, playing in and around the poetry.

My favorite verse, perhaps clumsily translated:

here and now i miss you
the way i want hot coffee when i wake up happy
you fell asleep all on your own
lonelier than the lonely
abandoned like the god in kafka's poetry
