“The Rastafarian Lion”
Finally finished another painting experiment. This is a set of 4 abstract resins that im working on and i chose to make animal portraits, and the most interesting part of this experiment is its a 3D painting. With this particular portrait of the lion, it has 5 layers of resin in it.
So far this is my second completed animal 3d portrait, the first one was the “Wolf Goddess”. And gave it to my wife as a mothers day gift which she loves very much.
Here is the Video painting from start to finish of the “Rastafarian Lion “

***So far this painting experiment was a sucess, and im currently working on the next abstract resined canvas. This Rastafarian Lion Portrait was inspired by The original Rastaman “Bob Marley” his song of love and fight for peace and freedom still ripples to this day, every generation loves his music and his music will never grow old, its that type of music that you wont get embarrassed to play it loud or sing it, and even if he passed away at a very young age he was way beyond his generation and most of his songs are applicable in our generation. I might have more painting inspired by Bob in the future but for now this is a great masterpiece, and I’m very happy with the results.
