If you've never watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, it's a show about a lawyer from NYC moving out to West Covina, California to try and to be together with an old summer camp boyfriend from her teenage years. The problem is that the boyfriend is quite unaware of this. The show is a musical comedy with some dark, heavy elements.
I think it does a really good job depicting depression, mental illness and codependency and hitting you with it in surprising ways. Plus, all the songs are really good and fun and you absolutely check it out. This piece is a drawing of the short music video of the song that always gets teased but never played "Period Sex"
