They are attacked by beings from the Last 52 Multiverse, known as the Multiverse who laughs. They are:

- The Last Sun
- inhabitants of a universe where everyone is crossed with Batman who laughs
- people of a world in which everyone is crossed with Killer Croc
- inhabitants of a universe where only shadows live
- Swamp Thing army
The heroes manage to kill most of them.
A few seconds later, the Darkest Knight (Death Metal (1, 2, Legends of the Dark Knights, 3 and Guidebook, Speed Metal, 4, King Robin, Rise of the New God and 5)) appears in front of the heroes of the original Multiverse, having recently killed Perpeta (Sixth Dimension). Bruce (-22) brings Dark Knights to Earth 0. They include:
- Devastator (resurrected)
- Dawnbreaker
- Merciless
- Drowned (resurrected)
- Murder Machine
- Red Death (resurrected)
- King Robin
- Robins who laughs
Later, Lobo (0) and the reincarnated Wonder Woman (0) join the remaining inhabitants of the regular Multiverse.
