Gifted Hands of Africa

Walking along the coast near Ghana black star square is the Arts Centre. Street sellers with their goods rush to you from all angles as soon as you arrive, but if you’re not weakened by the pressure exerted by the sellers just for you to patronize what they are selling, you can find carvings, baskets made from cane, drums made with animal skin , woven bags, handmade beads, fabrics, sandals, wooden sculptures, stools and periodically antiques. It’s a venue to expose some inconceivable findings and gifts. The best odds is to arch past the commotion which will inescapably confront you at the entrance and make your way towards the back of the compound, where it’s a bit more calm. Bargaining is expected. There’s also an art gallery, which sells African prints and paintings at legitimate prices.
