I started with the main lines and the basic shape of the character..
Next I refined a little the shape and added some details.
Next step is to add the main lines with a solid colour .
Done!
Then i added a solid colour behind the character to help me with the colouring later...
Now lets add the colour!!

Add a background.. and DONE!!
