BannedBooks.Art Report from July Gallery, and some lessons learned

BannedBooks.Art hosted its second VR gallery in July. The book was Alice in Wonderland, there were 2 NFTs sold, 3 guided gallery tours, 4 promotional spaces for the artists involved, and 15 paying patrons.

For those that may not know: BannedBooks.Art is a monthly VR art gallery that is made totally custom for each banned book theme. It's a unique immersive experience that provides a safe place to discuss topics that are often censored by using art pieces as a point of reference for the discussions!

This month, the profits from the gallery opening went to Prevent Child Abuse America. The breakdown is as follows:

The percent of the proceeds going to charity is up significantly because all physical rewards were cut out.

During this time period I partnered with VoxelX, and when SuperKluster has been published I will overhaul the reward structures.

This month I learned that it is so much easier to construct the environment in Tinkercad and then export it.

Overall, it was an amazing experience and I'm happy that we were able to donate nearly $100 to Prevent Child Abuse America!
