The Stary's fastest bridge is built on the Nerteva River in the city of Mosta in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 1557-1566, the bridge built during the Ottoman regime was destroyed in the Croatia-Bosnia war in 1993. Later in 2004 it was rebuilt. The 29 meter long bridge is one of the architectures of Muslim architecture in the Balkan region.

Since the advent of Islam in the seventh century, the development of Muslim architecture began.
