Grateful and happy! It was a very hot yet a very great day for me. I had the chance to visit the famous Simala shrine in Sibonga Cebu. This Marian shrine is known to be miraculuous and have already helped thousands of devotees around the country. We have lit candles for different intentions including thanksgiving. I gave thanks to the many blessings me and my family have received this year despite the trials we had.
Aside from the wonderful things I may have experienced from the shrine, I am also in awe with the great architecture the shrine has. Thats why every corner of the place is picture perfect. Seems like you have visited Europe.

Around the place you can see this medium bell under which is a wishing well where you can ask for a good fate. Everything around the place is just amazing. And of coarse nothing beats the power of the miracles of Mama Mary which makes the place even more interesting and sacred.
