Secret of the Nemrut Mountains

The archaeological site of Nemrut Dag in Southeastern Turkey, grave site of antiochus I. 7000 feet up in the antitaurus Mountain, the Mountain lies 40km nort of kahta, near adiyaman in 62BC, King antiochus I theos of commagene built on the Mountain top a tomb sanctuary flanked by huge statues.

Armenian, and iranian gods (associated with the iranic god ahura mazda). Tyeche and apollo mithras. These statues were once seated, with names of each god inscribed on them. The heads of the statues have at same stage been removed from their bodies, and they are now scattered throughout the site.
