Circular Pyramids, Mexico's Guachimontones Archaeological Site

The #Guachimontones circular step pyramid is an archeological site believed to be built by the #Teuchitlan people who lived in this area between 300 BCE and 900 CE... its purpose was to honor the wind god. They would erect a pole at the top and perform the Danza de los Voladores. Basically pre-columbian aerial performances.
