A new lesson ... Explain the modes of photography in the camera

Who did not see those characters in the camera mode selection key?

Letters like (Av.Tv.S.A.P) .. Have you ever wondered what do you mean and what is its role ???

In today's topic we will clarify a bit ...

First in the Canon camera will be like this:

And in Nikon and Sony cameras will be like this:

We will now start clarifying and will have a detailed explanation in the coming days .. (perhaps as a response to questions in the replies)

You must first know that the camera has three modes: automatic, manual and semi automatic.

I will first explain the situations in which the characters are symbolized ... Before explaining, we must understand that the image is a measure of light that enters the lens of the camera to print on the sensor (capteur) or sensor

This amount of light is subject to several factors: Aperture, shutter speed and ISO. This is known as the exposure triangle.

Ok how do I control all this ??? It's so simple ... so the manufacturers made these situations with the camera so that we can fully control the image.

We start with semi-automatic modes:

(Av) or (A) .. and this is my preferred situation. هههههههههههه ... Characters:

While the camera automatically selects the appropriate shutter speed according to the lighting available in the place.

The mode (Tv) or (S) is a shortcut to: time value or shutter and is as you see from its name means speed .. Here the photographer controls the shutter speed while the camera automatically selects the aperture according to the lighting available

We often resort to this situation when we want to shoot a moving target quickly and we want the image to look like static.

The program is programmed to program the camera according to certain conditions that it knows in advance. For example, a wedding photographer may use it inside a hall. Because it knows the size of the lighting in that room.

Manual mode:

The situation (M) is clear as it seems to be the manual situation or as some photographers like to call it the creative situation ... Here the photographer controls everything and the camera does not intervene in any modification .. Used to shoot fixed targets

Or creative images such as photographing fruits and foods like those you see in the media

Automatic modes:

Often comes in symbols .. And does not control the photographer in anything .. Personally I do not use it because it always gives you a result as you want the camera and not as you want you !!!!

Symbol of the Sports Man: Here the camera realizes that you are shooting a moving object quickly ... you raise the shutter speed as much as possible.

Flower symbol: Here the camera realizes that you are shooting a small thing (macro photography) and you open the lens to the largest possible opening with a slightly higher shutter speed, of course depending on the lighting available

Mountain icon: Here the camera realizes that you are shooting a landscape. Close the lens aperture as far as possible

Women's Code: Here the camera realizes that you are shooting a person from a relatively short distance (potrait) by selecting the aperture and shutter speed according to the lighting available

Building code with Hilal: The camera realizes that you are shooting a night scene, opening the lens as much as possible and selecting a slow shutter speed (the result is always unsatisfactory)

Person code with star: Here the camera realizes that you are filming someone at night opening the lens and choosing a slow speed ....

In all these situations you will see flash camera flashes both at night and day !!!!!!

The icon (auto) Here the camera is always trying to find out what the photographer wants and give it approximate settings ...
