There are more scripture references that describe the Anti-Christ - See following List.... a fair picture of who is he and what his goals are gives us a picture of Evil, Deception and Destruction to come.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

- There is a 'falling away' event....
- 'He sits as God - in the temple of God... showing himself that he is God'... clearly this is an act of a man like the Kings of old who not only rule but also aspire to be Worshiped as God!
