Quote from Billy Grahm (As Ref)
The Bible refers to the Antichrist as an evil person of great spiritual power who will appear at the end of the present age (just before Christ returns to establish His kingdom, as He promised).

The Bible says that shortly before Christ comes again, "the man of sin is revealed ... who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God" (2 Thess. 2:3-4).

As the name "AntiChrist" implies, ....

On one hand, the Bible urges us not to speculate about this or become overly anxious about it. On the other hand, however, it does warn us to be alert—because Satan and his servants are always active. ....

.... The Bible says, "Even now there are many antichrists" (1 John 2:18) ....

Comments:
There are more scripture references that describe the Anti-Christ - See following List.... a fair picture of who is he and what his goals are gives us a picture of Evil, Deception and Destruction to come.

 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

  • Explained above... full verse quoted here....
  • There is a 'falling away' event....
  • 'He sits as God - in the temple of God... showing himself that he is God'... clearly this is an act of a man  like the Kings of old who not only rule but also aspire to be Worshiped as God!

Daniel 7:25
“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.”

  • Speak Pompous words.... against God!
  • Persecute the saints of God...
  • Change times and law....
  • A period of testing - 'A time and times and half a time'....
