Redline is one bad ass anime that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole mind blowing ride!!! Redline came out around 2009 and was directed by Takeshi Koike. So it starts off with a human guy named JP and his old school yellow muscle car. His childhood friend an alien mobster mechanic, Joshua "Frisbee" Flathead(the one on the right in the picture below). Also, doubles as his agent coordinating his races, but sets up deals with the mob behind his back. The last member is Frisbee's alien junk dealer, Old Man Mole (he is the one on the left below). They make up his pit crew.
JP holds nothing back going all out in his races going flat out! When you find out who the competition is you get the idea why. With a field of racers that include cyborgs, aliens, and some of the shadiest characters in the universe! The Redline races also have no rules other than to make it from point A to point B! JP forgot that Sonoshee Mclaren was his personal inspiration when he was younger that lead him to get into racing. The sparks fly and the romance between them kick off in the finals when he realizes who she was.
Roboworld is the site chosen by the Redline corporate heads for the final race. The home world of militant zealot cyborgs whose President has threatened kill or capture and hang all involved with the Redline mothership if it appears out of hyperspace over their planet. The president feared the broadcast would expose secret weapons being built against the treaty. President unleashes his in tire arsenal to stop them not to mention one of the secret weapons gets activated by accident...lol

Let me know what you thought of Redline if you already have seen it. Me personal I loved it! The action was completely over the top! There was a lot of fan service to boot. The last race is completely insane with so much happening at one time..lol
