From my point of view, Sakura is actually weaker from a general point of view, remember the time team 7 was in war and she was begging Sasuke to love her, lets not forget the time she played with Naruto's feelings and tried to kill Sasuke(still not sure if she actually meant it tho) but her weak ass couldn't make a scratch and guess who saved her.... Naruto Uzumaki still.
But Hinata was never useless, in part 1 Naruto and Hinata did some cool move on a mission, Hinata was pulling weight in her group while Sakura's was always getting in the way and getting saved by Naruto and Sasuke, and when Pain almost captured Naruto, Hinata did her best, tried to save Naruto, thus I dont know why people like Sakura more. But I love her for her brute strength though and the fact that she's married to Sasuke too.
So left for me, Hinata because everytime Naruto almost died Sakura never cares about Naruto while Sasuke just have little injuries and she's so worried and also Sakura is mean to everyone except to Sasuke.
