Watching me watching you...
It was a rainy day and i really wanted to go out. You never know what can come upon your path/exploration. While driving down a very small road i saw some Barn Swallows hunting over the fields.
They often come all close together having a chat or relax on perches like barbed wire. Sometimes there are over 20 birds sitting next to each other. They always do seem to have fun together :) Cool.
They are very fast and elegant hunters catching insects like spiders, fly's and even the bigger dragonfly's.
But anyway. This one Barn Swallow was watching my moves carefully and was what i was doïng when pointing my telephotolens towards him. This little fellow even opened his tail for the best pose possible. So beautiful it was. I could make like +-10 frames :) more than enough 2 catch that moment.
To be honest i made those shots back in 2014 and after photographing many Barn Swallows, i never had the occasion again for such an encounter. Thank you, you little fellow for your coöperation. When i see those images i've made it always brings a smile on my face from that special occasion.
