Bald Eagle at Starved Rock
I went out on a winter hiking trip to Starved Rock State Park with my friend today and went with hopes of spotting a Bald Eagle. I saw plenty flying around the river but they were to far for my lens to reach. I was hiking down the trail to Lover's Leap Overlook and spotted this majestic beast 30ft out perched on a branch. This was amazing, I've never seen one this close and started snapping away. It was a good hike and well worth the trip.
