Ape (Monkey) Yunnan Pug-nosed
Really adorable cute furry monkeys, with pink lip-sized XL is so many who say his face is very sexy. The unique monkey from Yunnan does naturally have a pug nose and thick lips, large and reddish. The Yunnan Nectar's snub nose includes a protected animal because it is thought to be almost extinct. It can now be found in the Yunling mountain region in southwest China.
This monkey population lives in the highlands (3000 - 4500 meters above sea level). This monkey is often found in green valleys overgrown by several species of pine trees, rhododendron, and evergreen oak. On this high ground, several months each year covered by snow that can reach up to 1 meter thick. What is interesting is the food of these animals, of which 80% consists of the type of moss (lichenes) that grow in the stems of trees. The remaining 20% consists of leaves, fruit and local grains.
The larger males weighing about 15 kg and the adult age of 7 years, while the females weigh about 9 kg and enter the adult age around the age of 4 - 5 years. Time foraging in the morning and evening, while the day is used to rest. This monkey lives in a large group, can reach about 100 tails.
