Angelina Jolie channels Duchess Meghan with gray ensemble and fascinator at royal event

Queen Elizabeth's illness meant there were no big-name royals in attendance at Thursday's Service of Commemoration and Dedication of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George in London. But Angelina Jolie made up for any lack of royal starpower in a gray ensemble that looked straight out of Duchess Meghan's closet.

strength of her humanitarian work around the world, wore a pale gray bespoke dress from Ralph & Russo, one of Meghan's favorite fashion houses, pairing it with a pale gray fascinator, pearl earrings and a silver clutch and heels.

Her dress' cowl neckline was somewhat reminiscent of Meghan's collarbone-bearing Givenchy wedding gown.

And Jolie's fascinator wouldn't have looked out of place on Meghan, who has also been upping her headwear game lately with hats and fascinators from sister-in-law Kate's favorite milliner Philip Treacy.

The newest member of the royal family wore a pale pink hat as she made her debut at Trooping the Colour, the official observation of the queen's birthday and a black-and-white hat for her first appearance at Royal Ascot, the premier event on the British horse-racing calendar.
