In a classy move by Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos, today he announced the creation of a $2 billion dollar fund to give to non-profits combating homelessness, and to create a new network of preschools based on the Montessori set of teaching principles.
The Day One Fund will launch with a $2 billion commitment, split between the Day 1 Families Fund and the Day 1 Academies Fund, Bezos said.
