That Seductive Border Between The Two To Tango...

The Argentine Tango has once again mined history and dance to distil the essence of seduction, the most highly refined mode of influence, the ultimate power trip.

I sense like a lot of the negative reviews are caught up in labelling my comment somehow misogynistic and manipulative at its core. And I certainly agree to an extent: the language that the tango uses is definitely suggestive of manipulation and in many ways focuses on upsetting the power balances that naturally occur in couple interactions. I believe those who focus on this point entirely are very cynical. These days we have lost touch with art. We have lost touch with patience. Even writing this was a matter of using the mouse and clicking so I am running more on a general feeling here than I am attempting to make careful points.

So, to answer to those who will label my point of view dangerous, misogynistic, manipulative, superficial, etc., I'd like to make a few points. The art of seduction originates in the feminine mystique, and that we men adopted it is because we recognize the great control that it grips. Thus, good job females. Sure, the social order still has hundreds of light years to go in order to truly honour any true notion of equality between genders, but if you see a man dancing the tango, it is because he is trying to master the art that originated in the nadirs, strangeness and natural power of femininity. Besides, how difficult is it to seduce most men? Many of us are simple people. The (fake) arguments about misogyny also originate in our collective attitudes towards sex - but tango is not about how to get laid. Certainly, sexual interactions play a decisive role in tango, but tango is more about how to earn people over.

About the manipulative part: The language in the Tango certainly suggests that manipulation is really they key to seduction. Globalists name the seduced "victims" and "targets", etc. But here's the thing, in my modest opinion: our society became excessively collective. We have all been socialised to think of how to "get what we want and now". And look at the horrible deficit in emotional capital that we find in ourClare Hugo by BelloStilettos2.jpg Western society... Tango is not a dance about seduction in terms of magically forcing people to do what you want. It is a conversation about education on how to fulfil the need of others in order to significantly increase your personal seductive allure. Seduction is about learning to be more focused on the other person than ourselves

The Tango is not easy to dance with its original spirit art, but still intriguing and surprisingly for many being just in the first steps of the way is enough and seems to work. It's a long way, so I would recommend taking notes during your learning stages on anything you find particularly interesting for your own review at a later day, just as a refresher. Hope you all find what you're looking for.
