Spring casts her Spell. Ephemeral Art. Original Photography. The Homesteaders Co-op.

Spring.
Casts her spell.
Enchantment is in every flower.
Still. My Creative Muse sleeps. I feel her now.
Stirring again. The time will be soon. I must still wait.
~Ally.

Spring casts her Spell

This Spring bouquet is bursting out of one of my handmade nests. You can hardly see it, but the nest has a Japanese rice paper lining and an outer casing made from Spanish Moss, embedded with dried loofah fiber, dried fern fronds and lichens. I'll describe and illustrate the making of the actual nest in another article.

Every week at Steemit @sunscape invites us to select one of three cards for her Weekly Card Reading

This week the beautifully illustrated cards were from The Good Tarot, designed by Colette Baron-Reid and I selected Card 3: The Hanged Man.

The Hanged Man.

The message of the Hanged Man rang especially true for me at this time, in the sense that there are so many avenues I wish to walk down, with the many diverse creative areas I've been exploring for the last SEVEN years now. The call to bring these ideas and processes together is very strong. Yet, I'm still searching for THE way to do that.

When this Major Arcana card appears, you are being reminded that a delay is in your best interest. That means that until all the elements are in place, you are meant to surrender to the greater will, for the highest good of all ~ And wait to see how things will play out.

The word that is key for me is here is Surrender. Perhaps it's time now for the being that's 'searching' to surrender all the 'anxiousness of not knowing' ~ In order to hear the clear voice of the Creative Muse once again?

Remembering that:

The entire Universe responds to you according to the vibrational patterns that you are holding at this given moment. ~Hanged Man.

Waiting

The way that I see it: Waiting for the inner promptings of one's Creative Muse doesn't necessarily mean one needs to stop all creative pursuits. On the contrary, playfully exploring different mediums gives the Creative Muse something she can also play with.

But then as @sunscape reminded me:

Our creative minds never slow down, but sometimes we must sit still for a moment to allow the Universe to unfold the next part of our journey. ~@sunscape.

THREE amazing things have fallen into place for me this week.

  • SteemPress.

Steempress is a WordPress plugin created by @SteemPress that has enabled me to integrate Steemit with my WordPress blog. Seeking to stand in my own 'Sacred Space.' Using SteemPress to integrate my WordPress Blog.

  • Share2Steem.

Share2Steem has enabled me to integrate Steemit with my Instagram Account. Be open to 'Sacred Space.' Integrating my Instagram Account with Steemit using Share2Steem.

  • The Homesteaders Co-op.

The Homesteaders Co-op is a Marketplace for Steemit Homesteaders and artisans. A few days ago they announced:

We are looking for homesteaders that have products to sell and wish to accept SBD in exchange for their handmade, sustainable, homegrown and ethically sourced products. Call to Action: Accepting Homesteader Applications in the Homesteaders Co-op.

If you love natural and eco-friendly lifestyle products you'll love the Homesteaders Co-op website.

Containers made from paper and natural materials.

In my article New Beginnings. Ephemeral Art. Eco-friendly Products. I shared this very simple paper container made from Japanese rice paper embedded with dry hydrangeas.

All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson.

I have the notion of painting very simple tribal/minimalist/abstract designs on these nests/hats/bowls and/or decorating them with dried plants and or coating them in a waterproof resin. But I tend to like them in this more 'natural state.' ~Ally. New Beginnings. Ephemeral Art. Eco-friendly Products.

Beatrice of the Hemp Gallery has given me lots of hemp fabric offcuts that I intend to recycle into containers and bowls and Gabriel of Amphore Living Foods has given me masses of Kombucha Scobys to produce Kombucha fabric/leather that can then also be made into containers.

It may take a few weeks before I finalize the specific products that I wish to offer, to then make a formal application to join the Homesteaders Co-op. However, I've made a start already and over the following weeks, I'll share some of my paper containers and early nests made from paperbark and twigs, as well as some of the latest developments.

Am I excited?

Sure am. I've been looking for a way of selling my 'creations' for Steem/SBD for eons. Much of what I create is simply not saleable and so the challenge for me now is to make it so ~ Universe willing.

Being a part of a community of like-hearted homesteaders and artisans will be amazing. I'm setting the intention. Let's see what happens. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
